Role:
This is your opportunity to be part of a successful early-growth business with great potential in the business travel sector. If you are a business travel/relocation sales professional, looking for a product and service to believe in and with nothing but growth opportunity ahead, this may be the role for you. You will be part of Initial North America sales team and forge the path to success for the company and our clients. This is a sales role that comes with a great deal of responsibility and expectation, as well as a great deal of potential. There are few competitors and many potential enterprise customers – it’s a greenfield opportunity. You will prospect, pitch and close new business directly to Corporate Travel Buyers/Managers including relocation managers of major international corporations and also sell to Travel Management Company (TMC) or Relocation Management Companies channel partners , if needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute all aspects of the sales process, from prospecting to closing.
    • North America-focused, but possible to expand internationally if/as necessary
  • Work closely with leadership to
    • assess target sectors and profile and prioritize client target sets
    • determine sales revenue goals and achieve those goals
    • develop and/or contribute to effective sales and marketing messaging, presentations and collateral
  • Negotiate profitable and sustainable business deals with channel partner and direct corporate executive representatives
  • Manage key partners, building deep relationships with the relevant stakeholders
  • Collect and analyze feedback to support future product initiatives
  • Significant contribution to the development of an organized and scalable sales operations process


Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of deep experience and familiarity with the enterprise-level managed travel marketplace
  • 10+ years in related sales and/or business development and a track record of meeting and exceeding quotas and goals
  • Existing relationships and/or an ability to quickly create relationships with executive decision-makers in the
    • Corporate Travel Buyer/Manager community
    • Corporate HR/Relocation/Manager community
    • Travel Management Company (TMC) community
    • Relocation Management Company (RMC) community
  • Ability to professionally and confidently negotiate complicated business deals
  • Confident understanding of the state of business travel technology
  • Confident understanding of the challenges of long term lodging from a travel management and buyer perspective, from the front, mid and back office perspectives
  • Skilled in presentations to groups, small and large
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills
  • Power-user level skills in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Docs, Salesforce CRM and other technology solutions for driving sales
  • Comfortable with data analysis and reporting
  • Strong internal and external communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements; startup experience a plus
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity.

  • Strategic critical thinker with a passion for new products and solutions
